ADULT
Beginner Hand-building
Our hand-building class welcomes a wide mixed age group as we goes over all the fundamental hand-building techniques such as: pinch pots, coil pots, slab work and sculptural work. The students are encouraged to create with freedom while using the fundamental techniques to inspire their creations.
Beginners and repeat students alike are welcomed. Whether you have never pottery before or are familiar, need a refresher or a re-intro to pottery, or you want to simply hand-build your own project with instructor guidance then this class is for you!
Each class is 2 hours with an optional 1 hour of individual work time after class.
Includes unlimited reclaim clay
Each student gets 15 pounds of fresh clay to start and after that can purchase clay in 15 or 25 pound bags.
Students do not need to buy tools as they have access to the studio tool wall.
10 person max per class
If a student needs to miss a class due to illness, work or travel, we are happy to allow for make-up classes during another class time or during open studio time.

Combo Classes
Join us for our unique wheel throwing + hand-building combo course! During this course, the instructor will demonstrate how to throw on the wheel confidently and correctly. As well as demonstrate hand-building techniques and how to combine these skills with wheel throwing. This class starts with the fundamentals so that it remains beginner friendly. The students are encouraged to progress at their own rate and will be guided based on where they're at. This course prioritizes guided demonstrations and studio work time.
Beginners and repeat students alike are welcomed. Whether you have never done the wheel or hand-building before, need a refresher or a re-intro to pottery, or you want to learn both hand-building and wheel throwing in the same course then this class is for you!
This combo class is 3 hours.
