Some experience required

The Potter's Skills Series is a collection of focused workshops designed to help beginner and intermediate potters build confidence, refine their techniques, and solve the most common challenges faced in the studio.

Rather than covering everything at once, each workshop dives deeply into a single skill, giving you the opportunity to learn new techniques, ask questions, receive personalized feedback, and spend dedicated time practicing.

Topics throughout the series include:

  • Handle Workshop

  • Trimming Masterclass

  • Lids That Fit

  • Surface Decoration

  • Altering Forms

  • Glazing Fundamentals

  • And many more including visiting artists!

Each workshop includes demonstrations, guided practice, troubleshooting, and plenty of one-on-one instruction to help you improve your craftsmanship.

Pottery Pickup Policy

Finished pottery will need to be picked up within two weeks of finishing. The studio holds pottery for a security period of 90 days (3 months) after a pickup notification is sent to the email address provided during registration. It is the student's responsibility to ensure their contact information is accurate and complete.

Due to the limited storage space in our studio, pottery that is not claimed within 90 days may be donated to the general public. Refunds or replacements cannot be provided for unclaimed pottery, as the class or private party services including instruction, materials, firing, glazing, and care of your work have already been completed.
