Mini courses meet two times with two weeks in between the first meeting. This allows you to create your pottery with time for it to be dried and fired so you can glaze and paint your pieces without a full class commitment.

On the first day, participants will be guided through the basics of working with clay. Either on the potters wheel or by hand depending on which class you choose.

Once the first class is over your pottery pieces will dry for two weeks and be fired. Two weeks later you will return to add color and personality to your piece through the glazing process. 

All finished work will be fired by the studio and ready for pickup after glazing. This mini course is a great way to try something new, get your hands dirty, and experience the joy of creating something from scratch.

• Each student is provided as much clay as they need.

• Students are provided community studio tools

• If a student needs to miss a class due to illness, work or travel we can arrange participation in a different mini course as long as you reach out to reschedule before hand.
